When you want to mention another video — in your content, on social media, or as an overlay in your edit — you need more than a raw link. You need something that looks good.
We built a free tool that generates YouTube-style video cards you can configure in full and export as PNG in one click.

What a Video Card Is
A video card is the visual representation of a YouTube video: thumbnail, title, channel name, view count, duration badge, publish date. It's what YouTube itself shows when it recommends a video.
These are useful in a lot of contexts:
- Social media posts — Drop a card into a tweet, LinkedIn post, or Instagram story to reference a video without just pasting a URL.
- Video editing b-roll — Insert a video card as an overlay when you mention another video in your content. It looks clean and professional vs. a plain screen recording.
- Thumbnails — Use a card in your thumbnail design to create a "watch next" visual that stands out.
- Presentations and docs — Embed a proper-looking card instead of a screenshot.
Everything Is Configurable
The tool gives you full control over every element of the card.
Video data:
- Thumbnail image URL
- Title
- Channel name and avatar
- View count
- Duration (shown as a badge over the thumbnail)
- Published date
- Progress bar position (0–100%) — useful for a "currently watching" look
Theme:
- Light or dark preset, or fully custom
- Card background and text colors
- Font size and spacing scale
- Border radius
- Duration badge colors
- Progress bar colors
Display toggles:
- Show or hide duration, views, published date, channel avatar, and channel title independently
You can combine these to match your brand, your video's style, or the platform you're posting to.
One-Click Export
Once the card looks right, you get two export options:
- Download PNG — saves a clean image file to your computer
- Copy to clipboard — pastes directly into any design tool, editor, or chat
The exported card is the exact pixel-perfect version of what you see in the preview. No compression artifacts, no watermarks.
Your Work Gets Saved
The tool remembers your last configuration in localStorage — so when you come back, your video data and theme are exactly where you left them. It also keeps a history of the last 10 cards you generated, so you can go back and re-export anything.
